BOYS HEAD TO BARCELONA

Monday, June 24th, 2013

Our U16 and U17 boys (with coaches Sean and Lynn) are heading to Barcelona this week.

Heading off on Tuesday the boys will have a jam packed schedule, with a game on Tuesday afternoon against the 2nd Catalan Division. On Wednesday the lads will have a training clinic and the game against Champions of the 3rd division. On Thursday they will have a session including 1V1, 3V3 and 4V4, in the afternoon they will then have a game against the host club – Club Basquet Alpicat -. On Friday they will have a training session with the 1st Division U15 team and another game in the afternoon against 3rd team 3rd division before they fly home. This has been organised with Rafael Marín Sánchez, who was over last summer coaching in our Summer Camps. Hopefully this is the start of a link up with a Spanish Club.

The lads have done well with fundraising earlier in the year with Car Wash, Layupaton and running the shop during the Masters Tournament.

Best of luck Sean, Lynn with players Stephen, Aidan, Nathan, Alan, Evan, Jomari,Derek, Sean, Jack, Mikus and James
